* ABOUT KLING O1

Working with Kling O1

Kling O1 is the reference-control generation of the Omni line. Its image variant transforms subjects, styles and local details while holding overall visual consistency; its video variants animate between a start and end frame, edit clips from natural-language instructions, and generate new shots anchored to a reference video's camera language.

When to choose Kling O1

Use Kling O1 when a change has to respect an existing frame or clip closely. Kling O3 is the newer Omni family with longer multi-shot generation and 4K; O1 remains useful for tightly controlled frame-to-frame transitions.

Choosing between the variants

The image variant edits stills. Image to Video builds a transition between a start and an end frame. Video to Video Edit rewrites subjects and environments in place, and the reference variants keep character identity and camera style from an input.

* FREQUENTLY ASKED

About Kling O1

Can Kling O1 animate between two specific frames?
Yes. The image-to-video variant takes a start frame and an end frame and generates a coherent transition guided by a text prompt.
Does Kling O1 video editing preserve the original timing?
It preserves the motion structure and timing of the source clip while changing subjects, environments and visual style.
How is O1's reference mode different from a plain prompt?
It anchors on an input image or clip so character identity, objects and camera language stay stable instead of being reinvented per shot.
