Working with HappyHorse 1.1.
HappyHorse 1.1 is Alibaba's short-form video family built around sound. All three variants return 1080p with synchronized audio, and the image and text variants add Foley and multilingual lip sync — the point of the family is that the audio track comes out of the same call as the picture.
When to choose HappyHorse 1.1
Use HappyHorse 1.1 for social ads and short-form content where a character has to speak convincingly. If you need editing of existing footage or nine-image reference control, HappyHorse 1.0 still carries those; Wan 3.0 is the choice for longer-form cinematic shots.
Choosing between the variants
Text to Video is the fastest route from a script to a finished spot. Image to Video animates a photo you already have. Reference to Video is for series work where the same character has to reappear across several clips.
Questions about HappyHorse 1.1
The short answers. For anything specific to your setup, talk to our team.
Yes — the image and text variants do multilingual lip sync, so the mouth movement follows the generated speech rather than an English-only phoneme set.
Foley is the incidental sound layer — footsteps, cloth, object contact — generated alongside the speech so a clip does not arrive with dialogue over silence.
All three variants return 1080p, which is what makes the family usable for paid social placements without an upscaling pass.
