* ABOUT KLING 2

Working with Kling 2

Kling v2 is the compact generation: one image-to-video variant and one text-to-video variant, both aimed at polished output with smooth playback and consistent pacing rather than at tiers, effects or motion transfer.

When to choose Kling 2

Choose Kling 2 when you want a plain, predictable Kling call with no tier decision to make. Kling 2.1 adds a Master tier, and 2.5 and later add cinematic motion, audio and 4K.

Choosing between the variants

Image to Video is for animating an existing frame; Text to Video builds the shot from a prompt. There are no quality tiers in this family, which is what makes it simple to call.

* FREQUENTLY ASKED

About Kling 2

Does Kling v2 have Pro and Standard tiers?
No. It is a two-variant family — image-to-video and text-to-video — which is why it is the simplest Kling generation to integrate.
How does Kling v2 compare with v1?
Sharper visuals and smoother playback, with more consistent pacing across the clip.
When should I move off Kling v2?
As soon as you need native audio, 4K, motion control or multi-shot continuity — those live in the 2.5, 2.6, v3 and O3 families.
